Beginning in 2018 and continuing indefinitely, I began working with Sister Cities International to produce and curate mural exchanges between Chicago street artists and artists from Chicago’s more than 30 Sister Cities. The Toronto exchange was completed 2018-2019 between Justus Roe who painted this bridge in Toronto. I curated Toronto-based Kirsten McCrea / Hello Kirsten to produce this mural in downtown Chicago, which I featured in the Wabash Arts Corridor. Two: Chicago - Casablanca

In summer 2017, I was invited by Sister Cities to curate a Chicago artist in the Casablanca street art program, CasaMouj. They embraced my vision to host the first female artist to do a mural in Casa. I invited Chicago-based artist Sam Kirk, with her partner, Jenny Q to do this project with me and to my delight they agreed. In spring 2018, we traveled to Casablanca and the work above is the masterpiece they contributed. The second part of the Chicago-Casablanca exchange is underway. Moroccan artist Dynam is coming to Chicago fall 2019 to paint a mural for the Wabash Arts Corridor. Sam and Dynam’s work is featured here in this Casablanca street art roundup from 2018.

Below photos from the incredible mural installation on the Atlantic Ocean and my first curatorial project in North Africa.
