Founded in 2023 by Neysa Page-Lieberman, Monumenta is a public art initiative that co-creates public artwork to monumentalize our collective actions and stories. We collaborate with artists, communities, nonprofits, civic agencies and more to envision, incubate, develop, advocate, connect, and visibly present their stories as monuments in public spaces. Some current projects center climate justice, Indigenous rights, womxn's plant-based practices, crowd-sourced archiving, feminist histories and imaginative futures.
